Welcome to the Connected Dad Life.

The best manual for your kids is the one you co-create with them.

So what is stopping you?

When I became I dad, I thought I was ready, but I was kidding myself. Within moments of holding my firstborn, I realized I was in over my head and needed help. Ten years later, I’m still clueless (sometimes), but I’ve learned a lot and have built a global network of mentors, coaches, friends, and dads!

None of us have it all figured out, but by leaning in, connecting with one another and accepting the joys and challenges as they come, we’re all stronger and more equipped than we would have been going it alone.

Where to begin?

There are lots of dad communities, life coaches, and self-improvement programs out there. I’ve joined a few, met some of the founders and facilitators of others, and brainstormed new models with dozens more.

The one thing I know to be true is that there is no one-size-fits-all. We are all on a journey of discovery and becoming a dad only complicates, enhances, and expands the journey.

My approach

As a certified spiritual director, my approach begins by reflecting on the relationship we have with God (or however you understand a higher power).

My goal is to journey with you to strengthen your relationship with God so that you can use that relationship to deepen your connection to your children, your partner, and beyond.

Lao Tzu quote: The Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

The Journey

I don’t offer 6-week program or a 12-step plan to success because every journey is unique and every journey starts at a different place.

But, I do offer my guidance, companionship along your journey and introductions to others who travel with you as you explore God’s presence in your life and God’s desire for you to live your best life in relationship with your family.

What People Are Saying

Brian is such a great human. He is authentic, warm, funny and just the right mix of faith and curiosity to make exploring a relationship with spirit and God non-threatening and also accessible.

— Heather W.

The first thing Brian asked me was “What is God to me?” and I didn’t have an answer. Now, I have a better understanding of God and this relationship has helped me redefine my relationship with my family.

— Matt S.

Brian immediately put me at ease with his warm presence even though we first met via Zoom. His questions and guidance helped me reconnect with my church and find a local group of dads to support my journey.

"I've really enjoyed working with Brian. He's knowledgeable, friendly and very supportive of me. In only a short time he's given me some great insights and ideas to help me grow. I would encourage anyone to reach out and talk with Brian."

— Mark R.
